The Fine Line Project

2011—ONGOING
I collected words or concepts (from friends) between which there is a fine line i.e. two ideas that could be mistaken for one and other, depending on the situation. For example, 'being honest' and 'being an asshole' or 'lying' and 'enhancing'.

Estimated Time About a Minute

2010
The video piece sheds light on the contrast between mechanical time and "felt time" by forcing circular motions to follow the seconds on a clock, instead of their natural rhythm.

Roundabout

2010
This experimental video work is focused around the concept and perception of time, a result of my curiosity and fascination with it.  My reflections relate to thinking about time as linear or circular and working with sequences that can be looped. Even though video functions in a linear way my work wants to escape a beginning or an end.
